Hi! My name is Mira and I'm the mom of an almost 2 year old boy, Evert. I'm originally from Bulgaria, while my husband Jaak is Estonian and although we met abroad, we've been living in Tallinn for the last 5 years now. Currently, Jaak is travelling often for work and even though I'm on parental leave, I'm also 6 months pregnant with our second baby, which makes taking care of a toddler on my own sometimes challenging. Evert goes to daycare for 2-2.5h in the mornings, but there are often times he has to stay home due to teachers, other kids or himself being ill. And of course, sometimes Jaak and I want to escape for a quick date on our own :)) We are looking to establish a longer-term relationship with a babysitter for those times when we need the extra help and support, especially as our family grows. At the moment, ideally, the work would be on an as-needed basis and quite flexible ie. there would be times we would need you for a full day, other times just a half day, an evening or some hours on a weekend, depending on your availability as well. But if needed, we would consider committing to a number of hours (and set times) a week with the agreement that more may be added, as needed/available. Last few bits of information about us: - We have 3 very friendly cats. - Evert understands both Estonian and English, but is not speaking yet. We use some baby sign language to communicate. - I don't speak Estonian or Russian, so it would be very helpful if our babysitter spoke English, as I would be the primary parent you would be dealing with. - We live in a house with a yard, so there is always opportunity to go and play outside, even if you are not comfortable taking the kid out to playgrounds.
